Snow Summit

Found in my personal collection is this trail map of Snow Summit ski area from the 1984-85 ski season.
Long considered the flagship ski area of Southern California, there are many differences on this trail map between what exists today. Most notable is the absence of Chair 10 and the adjacent runs (Perfect Pitches, Sugarpine, Side Show, Pipe Dream and Jo's) on the east side of the ski area. You may also notice that this was before the extension of Chair 7, Timber Ridge and the addition of ski trail– 7-Down.
Chairs 1 and 2 are also in their original alignments, each with one or two midway unloading stations. On a rare day you can still ride the original Chair 1, now known as Chair 11, with its length shortened to the second midway unloading station seen on this map.
